Within the last 5 days, I received 3 bot messages from users I messaged earlier. These messages always end with an email address. And when you do email, you get a reply with a link to some porn or another dating website. Either these messages are from users advertising other dating websites or quite simply automated bots to keep the current users interested. I'm not joking, a lot of popular websites use bot scripts to fake messages, the user think its legitimate but it's not. Did anyone get such messages? Oh and btw, they always end with an email... mostly @yahoo/hotmail

you're right this happened to me last week with two girls. its really gay that this happens because it makes me believe these sites aren't what u think they are

UPDATE: Now confirmed!!!
There are bots installed on this site, can't believe they're doing this, only a first time computer user would be a noob enough to bother replying to those messages. I verified by messaging those girls again, I got a reply with yet another email. All dating sites are the same, now i'm planning to make one myself, much better than this crap :)

This was touched upon in another thread. I, too, have noticed that the vast majority of female profiles are not what they would appear to be. Caveat emptor... oh, and use a disposable e-mail address so you can dump it when the spam starts arriving.

Also, it's not just this site, even paid dating websites happen to do the same shit to increase SEO and gather as many users possible. More users >> more money. I've tried amatuermatch, sexsearch, plentyoffish and okcupid so far, but nothign works.
