It has come to our attention that the forums are being used more as a chat room rather than actual topic discussion forums.
Most threads we have been reviewing are hijacked with chat and only a small percentage of the actual posts contain relevant information pertaining to the thread's subject. This is not fair to the person starting a thread looking for information and drives away users that may be looking for information.
We will be monitoring the forums more closely and will be proactive in keeping things in check. Please keep your posts on topic, if you would like to "flirt" with someone, please use the email system on the site instead of posting it in the forum. Users that continue to break the forum rules will have their posting rights temporarily suspended and if continued could have their account removed all together.
We want the forums to be a resource where members can come for information and relevant discussion on topics.
Threads with very general/vague titles will be deleted. Please give your thread a clear title so that a reader will know exactly what the subject is.
Posts with simply emoticons, vagueness, or "chat" will be deleted.
Thank you everyone, we feel this will increase the value of our forums and attract more people to post their opinions on subjects. Have a great weekend.
