Posts: 1,574 Is it possible for a person who is a gold member to change their screen name in order to not be blocked from emailing another member? Or do they have to create a new profile? The question was brought up in my last blog and it seems like this is something that needs to be addressed.

Posts: 1,574 Yep...alot of 'fake' profiles have been deleted...and the admin is staying on top of the abuse reports these days...if you're having a problem with abusive emails...click on the 'report abuse' link at the bottom of the email...that sends it straight to the admin.

Having your screen name changed will not remove any blocks that user has on them.

I'm glad to hear this. If I have someone blocked I DON'T want to hear from them and invading MY space against my will would be disrespectful

Posts: 102 In fact if you have them on your block list, they will remain on your block list and you will see their screen name change to their new one on your list.
