Call me cynical, but a lot of the new profiles in the UK section look fake. I'm talking about the ones with very attractive looking women with great photos, clever nicknames
and essays that seem a bit too professional. Am I wrong?

nope you seem right- Ive had numerous messages from so say 'women' who straight away say they want to meet for sex etc, though they suply a false email addy etc- beggining to know whether to trust anyone

"La Caveat Emptor." (Let the buyer beware)
If you're fairly sure of one, or else they try to get your email or YM right away, feed them to the bear....report them.

WHAT'S UP???
all of the sudden I am getting mail from what feels like fake women... asking for me to e-mail them "pictures with stories" off site... and It feels like the picture they have posted may have been harvested from someone else.
Yes and the profile feels like it's what they think some guy's dream girl...
Just like any one else... why would i send anyone anything without conversation and some intercourse???
And where can you find out length of membership???

If someone emails you and offers their email address in the first letter, DO NOT EMAIL IT. These are people trying to collect email addresses to add to their spam lists. There is no reason to have to email someone at their personal address, as this site's mail is 100% free.
We will be working on battling this problem very soon.

Thanks Matchdoctor. I'll just keep reporting them as I always have. You gotta know who they are in order to keep battling them. In the meantime, you can at least zap the bad people from this AMD universe.

Y.... keep reporting them. There has to be some sort of function on here that permits the mods to not only ban screen names but also IP and/or MAC addys.

That's because mail is a system we manage ourselves. The IM service costs a lot of money. We provide a lot for free, probably more than any adult dating site around.
