I have a hobby that involves the computer, libraries, and history. I will tell more about that if we meet. I also do try to keep informed about the world around me, and how it affects all people and their lives. I care about the world and people.
My idea of a great date
Though meeting at a restaurant would be fine, just to meet and go to one of our places to talk over some coffee or drink would be most appealing to me. I'm looking for someone I can relate to, and they can relate to me. Talking and learning about each other holds the only real experience whether it ends with a hand shake, kiss on the cheek, or great night in bed together, going somewhere to be entertained will teach neither of us anything we need to know about each other if we are to become best friends. I am not afraid to spend all my time with one woman, best friends can handle it and grow from it.

I was divorced over twelve years ago, we have no reason to talk so we don't except on the rare occasion of need, only once, a short respectful phone call. No need to talk about it, it's long past. I will say I have never been violent, or hit a woman or child in my entire life. I believe in Peace and Love, not punch and regret.
What is your fantasy vacation?
Many places with the right person, an ocean beach, a snowed in mountain cabin, camping out under a mountain waterfall in the summer. The right person would make a lot of vacation places nice, even a long day in bed.

C.E.T. Journeyman by trade, retired. Revolutionary American History recent study.
Where did you last vacation and did you like it?
It was so good I can't remember it. (hint)
What do you find attractive in people?
Openness, Deep eyes and subtle smiles, sharing affection in public. Someone I can relate to and be open with makes attraction grow.
What do others do that irritate you?
People who expect perfection from everybody except themselves. Cold people who act above all others. People who are so cold they have never had a relationship.
What do you think is your best quality?
I listen, and keep learning. I am not afraid to express my feelings. I will never be violent, and am proud that I have stuck to that all my life. I'm old enough to know I still have everything yet to learn.
What one thing would you change about your personality if you could?
I can be stubborn if I believe I'm right.
