About my work
Retired. Will get the lubrication injections for the other knee. Can't do much of anything, even housework is difficult, as I have back problems also. But we can meet to see how things would/could work out. I get tired of staying at home, but haven't a car, so would appreciate a treat like an excursion somewhere, I like bingo, or just whatever would come up, musicals are nice, I like the Irish stepdancers. An occasional movie. A drive. Or we even have a music hall right here in my town, just up the street & I've never even been there, only past it. I have fished, lol, just don't like wiggly worms so prefer to use bee moths. There's even a huge carousel across the river I'd like to go on, lol.

What do you like to do for fun/hobbies?
I'm mostly on the computer, mail, games, mostly word games. Read Guideposts, RD, fiction-non-fiction, other. Also shopping on TV or online. I have a varied few collection of different things, like my Charming Tails by Dean Griff, The Friar Folk, hinged boxes, & just a few Beanie Babies, love nautica & butterflies & pansies, have a pedigreed registered blue point Ragdoll (cat.) My kids/family, friends are all 800 miles away, but I try to keep in touch with them.

My idea of a great date
Movie, dinner, a drink & chat, or a drive to a nice place like an overlook or to park by the water, etc Love nautica, or bingo lol. Let's explore a lighthouse, or bridge. Or make a meal at home together, rent a movie? Several things that can be done, dining out is difficult for me as I have to watch salt strictly.

Because he'd been a smoker since age 17 he'd had throat cancer surgery 9 yrs ago, his epiglotis had been removed, so he was always at risk of aspiration pneumonia, it had been his 3rd hosp stay, the 1st time he'd been diagnosed with many things all treatable but it was pneumonia that took him after a 38 day battle. He was good to me, & loved me, everyone liked him.

What is your fantasy vacation?
To visit France, Scotland, Ireland, England, Canada & Germany all the places of my lineage, then tour America my "other" heritage, yes, am a bit native American also.
Or go home for a good long visit with the kids, grands & greats! I have 5 living, one dead child (at age 4,) 7 grands & about 22 greats.
What is your academic background?
I have no higher education was married at 15 the first time. But was tested in 8th grade & rated 2nd yr of college so am intelligent. Got GED in mid 40's without studying. Took home correspondence courses, learned to type on an old manual, & also studied one college course: World Lit., took business classes in Bklyn, NY. Also computer classes in Yonkers.

Where did you last vacation and did you like it?
Home. At Christmas. With my kids, grands & greats, I loved it. Stayed with my favorite grandson. I miss them. You know the song; "Back Home Again, In Indiana", well that's where I'd like to be.

Gossip. Insults. Ridicule. Rudeness. Selfishness. Preying on innocent people. Cruelty. Being inconsiderate.

Well, I make a person feel at ease, I smile at them, chat just about anything, I'm open, honest & friendly. Am from a friendly state, (NY is not my home state.)

What one thing would you change about your personality if you could?
To let the things that irritate me about others go over my head to not let them bother me. To not feel inferior for not being knowledgable about news, etc.

Who you are in more than just a couple of words, as in location, age, I like to know a persons' sign, looks. They tell a bit about their personality by what they say & how they say it. If they have nothing to say, what's to start? Nothing. I'd prefer it if everyone who contacts me please sign their name. Describe your physique.
I am heavy. But tonight was my last dark choc candy bar, & no more chips. I have ample breasts, but they sag, as does my tummy. I'm heavier on one side at hip/thigh because of the right knee having been bad for so long, hope with all these exercises, that will be helped. I have to admit to being very soft from lack of exercise due to physical problems. Sitting at the computer, snacking, doesn't help that, perhaps the guy who chooses me will take me away from it & solve that problem, lol.

Most everything, the only things I don't do well, are ones I can't do, period, like physically.
