To those of you who like to argue, bicker, fight and give others a hard time...my grandma always told us... (there were 40 some grandchildren)

My Grandma used a switch and would make me go get the damm thing. I tried to bring in a tree limb once but she beat me with that. Never did that again !

My granny is more responsible for my younger years of my upbringing than my own parents. (Both had to work jobs)

Anyhow, she'd also say this...and then simply give a look and a shake of her fist.

Now when she'd do that, I KNEW she meant BUSINESS!

And I say this jokingly...she was a tough old broad! All the way up to the day she passed away on Thanksgiving Day of '84.

Nope, ya simply didn't mess with granny...

Oh yeah, I'll always have this memory of her, and will always chuckle about it...she loved to watch AWA Wrestling. And you didn't DARE tell her the shit was fake...or she'd body slam you. SERIOUSLY! Yep, she totally believed it was real!

Yeah my Granny was like J's, get your own switch for punisment from the yard! and God help you if you brought in a tiny little switch! If she had to go the yard, you'd really get it! My other Grandma (northern one was grandma, southern was granny) always said "those who don't listen must feel" she never punished us more than making us sit out on bench in the garden and think about what we had done wrong! I miss them both!

Dang! we all must be cousins, then......I had the same Granny, too! AND, if she didn't like the switch we brought back, and had to go out and pick her own.....then she left a few tiny leaves on the end to whooooop you all the better! But I remember that woman with lots of love and fondness! She'd make you the best cookies and take us fun places and we couldn't wait to go to her house on the weekends>>>>whoooopins and all!
