It has made all news channels today, and many places such as MSN, Yahoo, CNN news etc... all have postings about this... What in the hell is our world coming too??-- Now we can't even feed our pets, without worrying... ???

Glad you thought to post this here. It's really scary that so many brands came out of the same pot. I mean really, high priced "specialty" pet food that is supposed to be so much better from the same place that the cheapest Walmart dog and cat food comes from.

re: slitfiller's comment, that is quite true. I have read and heard from vets that decades ago when dogs were fed table scraps and scrounged for garbage, they often lived into their twenties. Now, with Purina and such, they live to low tens, if that.
