I agree! And it doesn't have to be a nude or x-rated......I'm sick to death of hearing "I have a profession that won't allow it" but I have a license I could lose....and i just have to post different pix....no big deal. There are people who do creative pix on here that show who they are....but not 100%....some very creative!

Since being on this site, I have place several pics. Invariably there is a critic for everyone I have placed. It is not worth the hassle showing pics.

I personally did my very best to present the best that I can be...don't see why others can't

I think it depends on what one is looking for. The "I can't post for professional reasons" seems a bit odd. But I can certainly understand if a person doesn't post a pic out of the need for discretion....me for example. Certainly it works against a person if you're really trying to find a partner but in the end if someone really wants to see me all they have to do is ask and I'll send a pic along. But I don't feel to comfortable posting a picture for anyone and everyone to take a look at without my knowing about it.

If they made that mandatory you would just have that many more fake pictures. There are too many pictures on the internet up for grabs. I came across one yesterday.

I think if AMD would require a minimum head shot , we would have a site that is filled with profiles containing photos that are not current or taken from a fun house mirror. I say this because there are many here who are ashamed of their bodies and faces as they are today. There are some here that are fake profiles, placed by AMD to encourage new members to pay for mail privaleges . These photos/profiles are often too good to be true and will show as cancelled once a new member joinsand tries to write them.

If everyone was required to show a photo to have membership here, then all of the secret agents,CIA operatives, homeland security people, embedded terrorists,West African supermodels, perverts, degenerates, and creeps would have to join elsewhere and I would miss them terribly. Afterall my inbox would be empty without them.

I have often wondered why so many post only HUSTLER-type photos of themselves,I would rather use my imagination then to see an ass with a tatoo in a thong, or a gapped beaver (ala-Sharon Stone wannabee). I think if one's identity is that secret because they are ashamed of being on AMD, they should keep their real names out of profile. I have real name as my handle and over a dozen photos here,I am not ashamed of being discovered here by anyone, in fact I hope to be.

SO agree on this one... and yes, it doesn't HAVE to be a nude! Just a plain facial is also nice. Just makes you feel more comfortable with who you are talking to! Kinda like real life... you won't talk to a stranger with "no face".

Kudo for you!!

I don't have a picture of my self that I can post, nor do I have a digital camera to take any, and yes, I know I am probably one of the least technologicaly advanced, but I dont even have a scanner to scan a picture taken from an old camera.
Thats the reason why I havent posted one.

So find a pic online of your favorite vacation spot and title it so that it explains. Find SOMETHING to post that gives an idea of who you are or what you like or what you're looking for!

Just an idea!!!

Well like babyneedslovin said, not everyone knows how to do the whole photo thing, I know when I first came here I didn't know a thing, someone who I was talking to had to help me put a pic up, and believe me it was confussing, he had to make it smaller and all that. But I never knew how to do that. And for the people that say because of their job, they don't want a face pic. Hey I don't think there is anything wrong with that. I know that is my reason, I don't want my co-workers seeing me here or my family and friends. Anyone I have talked to that I really wanted to know me, we talked on messenger and then I show them a pic, I don't think there is anything wrong with doing it that way at all. To each his own!!

Nice idea Wyked.... but then again, I'm sure most of us know someone, who knows someone who eiher has a digital camera or a cell phone with a camera. When you ask around, there WILL be people willing to help you out, unless of course, you WANT the pic to be a nude....lol

If not, agreed, ANY pic would do... as long as it's not the "pretty faceless AMD girly pic".

I disagree....I think we should have a choice whether to post one or not....a friend of mine got fired from their job for posting a picture on a sex siter...it may be due to some people's professions...I mean you might not want to be seen by the wrong person...like a manager , or father, or mother.....it might come back to haunt the person...but offer to send pictures on request....and only if the other person has a picture to exchange...
