YES!! I found $1,000.00 today!! posted 3/3/2007 12:15:55 AM | 2 kudos what's this?     report abuse   CrazyCraveman Well actually it was $1065.00 to be exact! And no, I didn't find it on the street...didn't find a wallet laying around...didn't find it in any stores or anything like that. I found it in my checkbook behind my checks. As I was paying bill this afternoon, I ran out of checks...so I had to grab a new packet of checks. And when I pulled out the used up packet of checks... Out pops 3 unemployment checks that I had stuffed in there and had completely forgotten about...and 5 weeks later there they were! Why am I sharing this? 	Now if you all lived closer...I'd take the money, buy lotsa booze and throw us all a big ass party!! And this isn't the 1st time this has happened...every now and then I'll put a few 100 or so someplace...so I'll have it if I ever need emergency money...and I'll forget I even hid it until I find it months later...lol

	I'm glad for you. I was happy a few weeks ago when I put a coat on that I hadn't worn for a while and found a $20 in the pocket. Kind of like free money....

	I wonder where my missing car key went? Congratulations on finding the money though. I used to put money in some strange places an always managed to find it again when I needed it. Never found more than £20 though (approx $40).
