I guess you all know about the new dollar coin of George Washington that just recently came out. Looks like the government is trying for the third time since 1979 when they first tried to replace the dollar bill. In 1979 they issued the Susan B. Anthony dollar coin...that was a flop. Then just a few years ago they tried it again with the "Sacagawea" dollar coin....that too flopped. Now a third time with the George Washington dollar coin....I don't see it doing any better than the Susan B Anthony coin. True, the government can save billions of dollars on going to dollar coins because they don't wear out as fast as paper money does, but the American people don't want the coins, we all still want paper money. Guys, what is your preference, paper bills or dollar coins?
