I live in perhaps one of the most beautiful areas of the world and love it. Friday I went up to Whistler skiing for the day and had just the perfect day. It was cool out but there was no wind and the sky was blue. I absorb days like these, living my life to the fullest. I took a risk that I've never done before, I jumped off a cornice to drop into a death defying slope that challenged every muscle and skill I have developed as a skier in the 30+ years I've been doing it. I've come to the conclusion I am freaking nuts! Is life that fragile that I risk everything for the thrill of the hunt? I think so, cause just after I managed to get my heart back to a proper rhythm, standing at the bottom of "The Peak Chairlift," I witnessed a snowboarder going full out T-bone two elderly gentleman standing absorbing their day together-not moving. He collided so hard into them that they were knocked out of their skis and ended up 20 odd feet away. One old gentleman was wincing in pain. Everyone ended up being somewhat O.K. but it just reinforced my need to live my life to the fullest cause ya just never know. Oh there is one thing I do perform safely in life - sex. I DON'T GET ANY...that’s safe. (o.k. somewhat of a lie) Cybersex is safe. and after injuring my thumb skiing realize I found I have a different partner in my left hand. And if by some freak accident I do get fucked, I do practice safe sex cause ya just never know.
