I dunno what this blog is about, and I have no set goal in mind with it, I just kinda feel the need to ramble here a bit. 
19 year ago today, I said I do. I thought it was forever. It lasted 10 years and 10 days. Oddly enough, 2 years ago today, I said yes to someone else's proposal. We didn't even make it as far as the alter. I guess they are right when they say experience is a wonderful thing. It enables you to recognize a mistake much sooner when you make it the second time. 
I'm having one of those decades. Since I turned 40, my life seems to be heading down the shitter. I have a job that doesn't even come close to paying the bills. Two roommates that annoy the crap out of me. Although one did make some pretty good tasting chicken today. Word of advise, if you are a dog person, never live with cat people. 
Cats are evil and vile. They have no respect for boundaries. They don't always land on their feet either: if you toss one down the stairs, there is a good chance it will land head first against a door. They also really don't like being zipped into suitcases. Kittens make LOTS of noise at 3am. I wonder if kittens taste like chicken? 
Anyways, since it's my "Anniversary" of sorts, I've decide I'm gonna revamp my life. I just put a cigarette out, and I'm gonna try really, really hard to let it be the last one I smoke. It may or may not be, but I'm not gonna quit quitting. I don't wanna be a smoker anymore. I'm also gonna apply for any job I am even remotely qualified for, in hopes of getting out of the job I am in, and the living situation I am in. I deserve better, and I'm gonna get it. In addition, I'm gonna start working on my dream. I'm gonna put together a business plan, and try to get some funding somehow and get the restaurant I desperately want to own.
I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, and I'm gonna let my experiences show me a new path, and I'm gonna follow that path with my whole heart.

As long as you want it whole heartedly i am sure you will get to where you want to go. Just don't give up when it gets tough. As for smoking. You quit when you are ready, there is no other way to put it. Just one day something changes and it becomes easier. So you can do it!

 Congrates on the quiting smoking. Being in your 40's isn't the shitter, you have to look at it as the begining of your second childhood  I was married 17years and the last 10 was a horrible rollercoaster. Sometimes I felt like I was beating my head against a brick wall but I'm proud to be 43  Actually surprised I made it this far! Life will get fantastic for you before you know it!!!

Fucked up economy in Michigan...... causing me to start looking elsewhere. Changing times (especially in auto industries) causing too much shit for people here. I'm probably like most from here - like the changes of seasons, have lotsa friends/family... but WTF are we to do? Gotta be very open minded, flexible, persistent, consider additional education... if we stay.
