I'm sitting here waiting for my newspaper to arrive anytime on my porch and it got me thinking about what others go to first with the newspaper. For instance, I have noticed my mom and other baby boomers going for the obits first. lol As for me, I quickly look over the front page, then go to the editoral page, and then hit the sports and then comics. I usually save most of my reading before going to bed. Reading it over helps me sleep better. I also go out that day and buy the Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper. I do the same with that paper too, I scan it over and wait till I go to bed and read the rest of it. What part of the newspaper do you go for first, and then second choice, then third choice, and so on...?

I read the headlines on the front page then go for the local area part ... after that it's the really local town part and then the 'world gossip' ... lol ... I'm still sorry we seldom have comics in our newspapers here.

I don't get a paper, I go to some news sites, scan headlines and by lines. Read what looks good, go to next news site same thing. Then I go to www.portalofevil.com scan the funny, weird and political headlines for any story I missed. I can now talk in sound bytes.

I head straight for the Comics section, then the locasl. The sports never get touched as I don't get into the types of sports reported in newspapers.
