Last year there was talk about Cyndi Lauper replacing Paula Abdul as a judge. Now after this season starts up with the show there is talk about Olivia Newton-John taking Paula Abdul's place as judge because of the interview that Paula did not to long ago. Paula appeared to be slurring her words and couldn't sat still the entire time of this interview, and she was believed to be drunk during it. Should Paula be replaced by Olivia Newton-John? I say if it's not broke, don't fix it.

Well personally I say get rid of Simon, keep Paula Abdul and bring in either Cindy Lauper or Olivia

Did you guys see Wednesday's episode, when Simon wasn't there at first. Honestly, if he weren't there these "no" auditions wouldn't shut up and get out. LoL that one CRAZY girl (the one who wasn't a singer but wanted to be the next American Idol WHAT) just kept going ON and ON and ON. Almost as bad as the guy with the lips who "sang" (and I use the term loosely) Gloria.
As far as Paula goes. Whatever man, if she's drunk she's drunk. It would be completely strange to see AI without her though...

The fact that half of her sentences are utter nonsense kind of add to the entertainment factor in my mind. I can't stand some of the self-righteous visiting judges.

He's the reason I have never watched the show. Give me the old days when the obviously talent challenged would never had made it past the screening process in the first place. Then you wouldn't need simple Simon, just honest judges. Obviously not my cup of tea.
