Well I've been stuck with the task of naming a band that I currently write for and have been asked to join. Now I have looked into how other bands have been named and they all seem to have been named after something memorable. My Chemical Romance were named after Irvine Welsh novel Ecstacy: 3 tales of chemical romance, Linkin Park were naimed because everyday going to the studio they passed Lincoln Park. With MCR (My Chem) as one of our biggest influences and faveourite band I thought as they did why not loo for a name relating to an author we admire, so I stumbled across an author we all have great respect for Dan Brown, his boos have some great names now we didn't want to go for an obvious Da Vinci refferance but have come up with a highly personal name.
ANGELS, DEMONS & DECEPTION! (A.D.D.) with two of the band including myself sufferes of ADD (Attention Deficite Disorder) as kids the personal touch becomes even greater

That's a great name if it means something to the band.
How about Code of Deception COD as an alternate? or Cash on Delivery whichever you like...

I like the ADD reference......as long as your music is acceptable for kids who suffer (i.e. stuff they can hear that doesn't need adult supervision or special ratings on it), I think it's great!

Well, since your band members are obviously interested in books, a good band name might be something that reflects that.
Also, it is a tradition in several Muslim cultures that when you have a new child, you name that child after something you never wish to happen to it.
Combining two current day hotbeds then (popular literature and Muslim references) might I suggest a good name for your band would be:

(Pudge) There was a band in the late 80s named C.O.D. and M.O.D.....Just Fyi.
Dom thats a very interesting combo...might have to use it for my next band
