We've been getting hit with snow since the Super Bowl last night.
It started out as rain yesterday morning, and continued on through the day as light to moderate steady rain until it changed over to snow.

The ground was still a little warm and very wet when it went to snow, so it took a little while before it started sticking, or we could have hit around 10" I'm thinking.

We're currently at around 8" of snow, and it's still snowing. We haven't had this much snow at once for the last 20 years when we had 2 1/2 feet of snow (I kid you not) back in Jan. 1994. Since then we would get 2-3" here and there through the winter, but that's it. This year has been great. Finally a real winter here in years.

The last snowfall we got was a little over a week ago when he got almost 5". It's warmed up since to where the snow had all but melted a day or two ago. Fresh new snow again!

I finally went snowshoeing Saturday. We're down 10 inches on the season. The ski slopes in the area and I are all looking forward to that snow getting here. We've just been cold. Wayyyy too cold.

It was warmer at kickoff in New Jersey yesterday than here It won't hit the high fifties for over a week with frequent 20/25 MPH north winds

Looks like you're going to be getting more snow on Tuesday also. We're getting more on Tuesday, but looks to be only 1-3 inches where I think I saw them saying on Weather Nation (I have Direct TV and they had a dispute with The Weather Channel so now they have Weather Nation) that your area could see up to an additional 8 inches tomorrow. You can have it!!! I'm more than happy for you to have it....in fact, any more snow predictions for Michigan...you can have!!! Like Lisa...I'm sick of it!!! This has been a very snowy winter up here! I have not seen snow piled up along side the roads like I've been seeing this year for a LONG time! These are snow piles my friends and I loved as kids because they were great for sledding on. And I'm talking along rural roadways where we could slide into a field, not onto the road. They've said on the news that road crews are actually running out of areas to put snow when they plow.

On a brighter note. That stupid polar vortex is back north where it belongs. My heating bill for last month is the highest it's ever been since I've been in this house, and it's close to $300. Also, I've finally been able to go out in the backyard with the dogs and enjoy the snow, first time all winter.

No, we're suppose to dodge that one. It's going to be more around Cincinnati and northwest of them. We're suppose to get up to like low 40's for the high tomorrow, with a low tomorrow night of around 36. We'll see mostly p.m. showers is what they're saying right now.

Well, it started out with some ice around 7:30pm yesterday, but there was some cold rain mixed in the ice that caused a lot of slush on the ground before eventually turning to just a cold rain which was heavy at times throughout the night. This caused a lot of problems with the snow that's already been on the ground which caused the a lot of the rain water no where to go but draining into the streets and peoples basements.

Finally the rain stopped late this morning and we're just getting a light drizzle of rain right now. The temp is going to drop for tonight and make things real slick. We still have around 6" of snow on the ground.

Yeah, and the temps are going to be around 20 tonight. The slush out there from today is already freezing up and getting pretty slick.
