JERUSALEM – Israel's internal security agency says it has foiled an Al Qaeda plan to attack the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv and hit other targets in the country.

Shin Bet said Wednesday it arrested three Palestinians it accuses of plotting to carry out bombings, shootings, kidnappings and other attacks.

It said the men, two from Jerusalem and one from the West Bank, were recruited by an operative based in the Gaza Strip who worked for Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri.

Shin Bet alleges the Palestinians planned on attacking a Jerusalem conference center with firearms and then kill rescue workers with a truck bomb.

It said Al Qaeda also planned to send foreign militants to attack the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv on the same day using explosives supplied by the Palestinians.

Yeah, Al Qaeda is still a royal pain in the ass out there. Why anyone would have thought they were weakened or whatever after Bin Laden's death is beyond me. These are religious zealots who think the entire world should live by their "law" and any out here who are not, are infidels. Their "idol" Bin Laden is dead, which has only made them more determined to now avenge his death. He has become their "martyr".

Now there is the threat of the "Black Widow" being talked about in connection to the Winter Games in Russia. She managed to sneak in past Putin's "Ring of Steel" meant to be secure enough to keep terrorists out. And now the Russian authorities are scrambling to try and find her.

Hate...it's a scary thing especially when there are those who have no regard at all to life. Anyone who can strap a bomb belt to them self and kill themselves along with others is not a stable person.

Well, this kook down below stated over 32 times in his speeches that he defeated al-Qaeda.

Obama brags about defeating al-qaeda

And another claim by 'ole Barry that he beat them

Yeah, I've seen those speeches....and had to roll my eyes. Anyone who can think for them self knows as long as there are zealots out there, Al Qaeda and all other terrorist groups will never be defeated or wiped out.

As long as there is radicals out there and hate, there will always be terrorists.
