I was on my fb page today, and chatting with some of my dear friends from when we were kids growing up in the old neighborhood. We talked about a get together with all of us who grew up hanging out and just spending a day together. Now the fun part...finding a few of them of have moved on and we've lost touch with.
Then there is my best friend, she is like another sister to me. We've been through a lot in the years we've been friends, car accidents, she with her 2 divorces, raising her sons as a single mother, her father's passing, Mick's passing, buying our first homes on our own, my mom with her health issues this past year. We've always been there for each other.
Then I have my friends who are online. We may not have met face to face, but they are good people. Some are here, some are on other sites, and they are all friendships I cherish. Some have my back when needed..
I may not be wealthy as far as money goes, but I look at those who are my friends, and I'm far more happy with that wealth than any money could buy. I've got some pretty cool friends all around me.
