Tonight, I saw that the lights out in the shop were still on, so I went out, shut them off and came back in the house. On the way, something in the sky caught my eye. Now I admit my eye sight isn't the greatest in the world, so I had to look twice to make sure it was actually there. And we have lightning bugs this time of year, so before I let my brain say anymore, I told it to shut up , and think. What I had seen was a planet, I think, but it seemed to behave very oddly. The colors seemed to shift and change more so than a normal star, and it appeared to be moving in a some what erratic manner.

You are probably thinking I'm going to say it was a UFO, but it wasn't. I stood on the front porch and focused on it and two other wise normal but fainter stars that provided reference points for the seeming movement. Once I had that, I could see that the reference points also seemed to move with the one I was observing. No flying saucer tonight. But I do believe I have seen at least one. Tho it was many years ago, it is possible. I have not since seen an aircraft that behaved as what ever it was did. This was back in the late 50's, and even tho there were secret aircraft even back then, this was like nothing that was man made was capable of.

Again, a clear night, in the summer or there about, I was on the front porch, just looking at the stars and dreaming, as young boys tend to do. One of the stars in my field of vision, and only one, started to move very erratically, in what I can only describe as a large W, then exited in a burst of speed. No flashing lights, and distance would have muffled any sound unless it had been in the range of a distant thunder clap. I called for my parents to come look at this funny star, but by the time they got to the door, it was gone. They said it was my imagination, but it is one of the clearest memories of have from my grade school days. This took place in the late 50's, and the UFO craze was going on. That still doesn't explain what I saw that night. Nothing ever has. So do you believe there is something out there watching us? I'm one that believes it is possible. But then I've always had some strange thoughts.

So do you believe there is something out there watching us?

Yes, I believe it's possible. The Universe is very, very, very vast, we have only chipped the very miniscule tip of it. There is so much out there we know nothing about.
