Everyone in the U.S. knows all about American Idol. I'll admit it, I'm an addict. ::blush:: it's one of my dirtiest secrets. I'm one of 'those' girls, who every year find a heart-throb and fall desperately in love. Two years ago it was Bo Bice (I still swear I'll marry him! hehe) and last year it was Bucky and Chris Daughtry.
Recently, Chris Daughtry released an album. It's pretty fucking fantastic, for what it is. You can tell he's trying to incorporate more "rock" but still keep it light for the A.Idol fans. I'm sure with the next album he'll rock even more. (Think how Christina Aguleria started as a pop princess, then did Dirrty) ANYWAY (I swear there's a point) There are a couple songs on this album that speak to me. I relate to them so well. One in particular reminds me of Sunny and Canu. I promise this isn't an attack, I promise I'm playing nice so just bear with me. It's called Crash, and makes me think of their relationship and how much they are in love. Give the lyrics a read, BUY THE CD, and tell me what you think.

Kelly Pickler was a fucking moron. I don't care how "innocent" she was... she couldnt pronouce Kalamri and didn't know what a Minx was. For crying out loud!
She was pretty, I'll give her that. In the whole empty headed blonde sort of way. Nothing exceptional.
I could rant for days about the bad name she gave to country women, her ignorance, and the fact that she played it up to get votes. Rar

I don't watch American Idol too much...usually the beginning of the season (those auditions are hilarious!) and the finals. But I did listen to the song.

BTW Chris Daughtery's(SP) is okay, there are no stand out tracks, his lable made him drop his smoking band Absent Element and audition a whole new band write a CD worth of tunes and do it all way to quickly. I have it but you really have to be into mid tempo 90's era grunge to dig it.
