After being back online, I've noticed a few differences here, like our old nemesis dirty doc hasn't popped in with his/her usual load of crap. And as Connie said in her blog today, things have changed and continue to change in my life as well. But much to what would have been my brothers chagrin, I'm still hanging in there.

Let me give you a bit of what has happened since I disappeared. Money got real tight at times, and I couldn't afford internet, so that was one of the first two things I dropped, that and dish TV. No cable out in this rural area. I’ve struggled to stay on top of things, and barely managed that at times, but I did. Got pretty sick awhile back and had go to the doctor, pneumonia, COPD and emphysema. Need to quit smoking badly for sure now, but I'm as bad as my brother was about that. And don't think about taking my coffee away.

Got some help thru Social Service here with my heating and they weatherized this place for me. Gotta stay for at least two years, but it will be a lot easier. I didn't use near as much propane this winter and my electric bills have been down at the spring and early fall level. There was a hicup with the propane company tho, they delivered 350 gallons instead of the 200 I had ordered. Finally getting that paid for, but will need some more to get thru till heating season sets in again. But I can pay for it a little each month, and things won't change much.

One other kink in my keester was that damned couch, couldn't sell it, couldn't get it out of the house by myself, and hated it with a passion. Finally the weatherization guys helped me get it on my garden trailer and out to the burn pile it went. Nothing left of it now but the frame. Vinyl does burn great, but lots of black smoke. Fortunately the smoke was blowing away from my closest neighbor that day.

And now, as far as I know for sure, my ass hole brother is supposed to be dead. Got a letter from his daughter last year telling me he is, but I do have doubts. No obit, they didn't send a death certificate, and I haven't been able to get to the Master Death Index to verify it. Typical, never do anything the easy way.

And thanks to WoW for calling after he moved up to Columbia. I guess some of you were a bit concerned as to my welfare. I hated doing more than paying bills and a little research at the library. But it did get me out of the house for a few hours at times.

OK, I'm done for now, ya'll take care, I'll be around a bit more now.

You are wrong on the nemesis, been here several times under multiple profiles some of them even argue with one another

I gather you did a copy/paste from the vanilla site as there is no Connie here I find her to be a self inflicted soap opera myself

I guess you missed the winter we had. I have trees down all over the place due to the weight of the snow. The ones in the forest did okay, but no so for the ones out in the open.

On the couch, I had a particle board desk in a bedroom I couldn't got out that had to go a few years back ( am pretty sure I blogged about it). I wound up cutting it in half with a chain saw and to the curb it went. In a matter of hours a Mexican came by and picked up both halves

I hope things are going better for you now. We have Ice forecast for tonight and tomorrow so I still haven't been able to get my garden in

Glad to see you back on here, Hope things go great for you from now on,

I think we all have that one item that becomes the bane of our existence. Mine is a 36 x 54 inch mirror my mom bought back in the 60s. This thing is over the top pretentious decor at its best. Have been trying to sell that thing for months and no luck, Since most people do not live in Versailles they have no need for something that big and ornate,

I had one of those, Rhonda The damned thing had to weigh 40 pounds When I sold off everything to move here, nobody wanted it. It was so overdone in being ornate that it was garish. I left it behind for the new owners

I'm a bit late on this, but currently, the docs been preoccupied trying to tear into me. Problem is, I'm not ashamed of anything I put up here, so he's pretty useless and keeps repeating himself. B. Davis, that's his name, lives with a few other people, victim of pedophilia, yadda yadda yadaa.

Also livesi n Berlin, Maryland on Grace street.

On the other stuff, Damned couches do that, and to be honest, i'd set that thing a blaze with "Born on the fourth of July" blaring in the back ground.
