An airline is now offering
a no kids allowed section called a "Quiet Zone".
It's about time
One thing I can't stand is going to a restaurant and having to endure hearing a crying baby or having my space violated audibly, perhaps physically by an obnoxious child
Kids are people too and to me, your kid is special to you, not me. I raised mine and am not interested in putting up with anybody else's ill mannered brat
When I was young, if a baby cried, mom would take the child out into the waiting area. If I acted up, there was a quick trip to the men's room with my dad where my dad would make everything perfectly clear through non verbal communication (excluding my howling as he drove home his point)
Back then the old saying, "children should be seen and not heard", meant something.
Every jerk or bitch we encounter today was somebody's little bundle of joy yesterday

Ok grumpy we know which airline you want to take from now on,
A baby crying does not bother me. That is just what babies do, And why does the mom have to be the one to miss her meal? The way I see it the man is just as capable of getting up and taking the baby to change its diaper or putting a bottle of milk in its mouth, The 1950s are long gone, Just thought I would throw that one out there,
Older children are another matter though, I worked in the children's department for 14 years, The five to twelve year olds for the most part needed to be sent to their room minus all the gadgets until age 21.

You know what's sweeter than the sounds of a childs laughter?
The sound of silence from not having any fucking kids!!
