Didn't know there was still some of the old member still on this site or I would have told you folks. I've been spending time on the vanilla site and have written a few blogs about my condition.
On November 9 ..I had my prostate removed, along with some soft tissue, as it had spread. I will have the results of blood tests in February to determine if I will need radiation. My surgeon told me he thinks he got it all but it's best to keep an eye on it with continued blood tests.
I am recovering slowly from the surgery and have had continued help from my friends. I was lucky to have no complications.

I'm not a member of MD but I do like to read the member's blogs and that's when I read your blog on 12/21/2012 about your cancer operation but couldn't comment. Then I read Bruce's blog on AMD and commented in it as if I didn't know who it was because I too didn't feel I should reveal who it was!
