If there is nothing to do from eleven tonight until dawn and you can't sleep, then mother nature has a treat for you: meteor showers. There were some this summer but I couldn't view them due to cloud cover. Our forecast is for clear skies so I should be able to take them in even though the moon will make viewing a bit more difficult.
