True...but the conspiracy theorist in me says we might just be bouncing around the universe and the next stop will have just one answer, which will kick us into the next reality, doomed forever to learn one answer at a time, and always missing the truth...we're just pawns in the greater reality...so why not celebrate Christmas while we wait for the next answer?

That works for in the meantime.. yet the greatest of adventures lay just over the next movement on the universes line of alternatively. As in it's in the journey not the destination for when one arrives another journey begins. A paradox of sorts we are we are not. Randomized chaos.

As long as it's not a continuous loop, where at the end of the journey we are back where we started...though I guess a Christmas that is like a "Ground Hog Day" experience wouldn't be so bad...presents every day.

Didn't that involve making things right as in getting the girl more than presents? And travel in the way I speak is more a spiral not a loop as loops are not usually how the universe works we spiral sometimes very closely that it looks loopish but never quite connecting to what has happened before even if in what is called time it seems the starting point is the same as in Ground hog day. He spiraled not looped each day was a bit different not the same as a.loop would be..

Which brings us back to the Mayans as this is the spiral we may well be in an alternate space awareness expanding in another yet similar direction.

I get your point. Spiralling in and out of alternate universes would account for the Mayans waiting for the end foretold by earlier travellers passing through. And would account for some of the relationships I've had over the years...business ans well as pleasure. Hard to chart a course though, if you are spiralling through time. Guess you have to sit back, accept what will come, be prepared. Always be prepared.

I am not too concerned with astral travels as I haven't had the opportunity in 61 years and to me, everything is what it is until proven otherwise.
That being said, I hope that everyone had a nice Christmas with loved ones and it now time to eat, drink and be merry

Aren't we all astral travellers as we spin around the sun? Just a matter of time until some of the other inhabitants of the universe stop by for a cup of coffee. In the meantime though, I agree with you. Let's eat, drink and be merry. Besides, they may be here to harvest us! Yikes!
