slow but sure.
I was seen by the cornea specialist Wed. and she had to do another procedure on my right eye. She scrapped the surface of my cornea where the cells had grown irregular and she said they were easily removed as they were loose.
They then placed a contact lens over my eye and it will stay on for a week. That milky white blur was gone immediatly and they say the blurriness I have now is due to the contact lens. Hopefully next Wed. will bring good news.
This has been a long haul of misery and frustration. To make matters worse, I am having big problems with my left knee and hip and I can't do anything about it until I can see to drive...and am free of eye appointments.
As they say, getting old isn't for the weak or faint of heart...hmmmm guess my smiley faces aren't working dammit.
Anyway, I went to a family gathering Thurs. night and left my reading glasses at the restaurant so I bought a new pair and they aren't working very well so it's a struggle to do anything on Zelda...another dammit!
