I can't watch that video. But no, I didn't see it, I was at work.

Yeah...I saw it. Then I watched Shep pretend he was sorry it happened and promise it would never happen again on "his watch." Boy, what a load of crap. They put that kind-a irrelevant eye candy on TV, desperately HOPING just such a thing will happen. Who do they think they're kidding, and how many ratings points do you think that was worth to Fox. And you can bet Shep is sitting home tonight whacking off to reruns of the show.

Try this test...watch any broadcast or cable-cast news show from start to finish with a pad and pen in hand. Count the number of stories that would never have been aired without video to accompany them. Count the number of stories that only got air time BECAUSE the video was compelling. Then consider the number of important things that happened today that didn't make the news show because there was no new video.

They've done the same thing to TV news they did to pro-football -- shamelessly change all the rules according to what's required to embellish the viewer appeal. "Integrity" left the building with Edward R. Murrow. "Ratings points" kicked it out.

I agree with the last commentator, very good points Fox apologized for airing it. But this is all sensationalism at the expense of journalism to pander to the audience that often has a tabloid mentality

I know you don't like Fox News because you're more into left leaning cable news outlets such as CNN instead of fair and balance news there, Bruce. But if you think that CNN is about journalism, I got some real estate down in Florida, and a bridge to sell you in New York.

I heard that CNN may be folding in the very near future.
