Oh yeah, a few weeks back, we got a LOT of rain. Rain... I saw some once Actually, we are projected to get over four and half inches from Issac beginning around sundown Friday. The whole state is under a fire watch due to the drought with the Dairy Association projecting one third of the ranchers in the state going under. Even those with the money to have feed brought in from nearby states can't find any. Beef prices are dropping as they thin their herds. But beef and dairy products are expected to jump ten percent by fall.
It will be in the high nineties today then drop almost twenty degrees as Issac arrives this weekend. Then it is back up to the nineties again.
it was a tad bit windy, and, apparently was causing the branches on both of the Blue Spruces in my front yard to cause the power lines to spark, A bit too interesting for you? That is a drag as spruce trees are gorgeous evergreens that are not nearly as fast growing as other pines
My Dad came over to help me clean up the mess, and next thing I knew, my crawling vines on my porch are almost all gone...my porch looks "naked". Communication is a good thing
Anyone got any ideas on how to get catalpas to quit growing all over the place? ...I love their huge leaves, great for shade, but they are some messy trees when their pods "shed". There you go, pick up the pods. That is much easier than with many trees. In Texas I had a problem with Arizona ash trees becoming weeds and their seeds were not in pods.
