Damn. Hard to come up with something to blog about these days. Been busy with work, next semester starts on the 28th. Yep, time to head back to the classroom. Looking forward to going back, learning some more. And I am SO READY for this election to be over!!!! OMG! I'm so freaking tired of the "vote for................." rhetoric that I see ALL OVER THE GOD DAMN PLACE! I ever mention I don't like election years? If not, I am now. Don't get me wrong, I don't "hate" elections in of them selves, what I hate is the whole "vote my way or you're an idiot" that I see come from all sides. It's ridiculous. If any of you have ever wandered over to the vanilla site, you will know what I'm talking about and I applaud you for your bravery going over there and checking it out.  Some of those people are bat shit crazy!  On both sides. I'll be happy when November 7th is over with. Not that either of the two candidates are real winners. One spends like crazy the other outsources jobs. Damned if we do and damned if we don't. I feel either way....this country is going to continue it's free fall. Neither side is taking serious just how precarious the situation is. It's all about "I'm right and you're wrong".
Ok, enough of that. Sorry...just had to vent a little bit. I understand that we have our values, what we feel is best. So, how about this summer? Been a bit of a scorcher for most of us, hasn't it? For a while there, I thought I'd be looking at brown grass the rest of this summer, but, we've FINALLY had some good rain showers come through, and my grass is green again.............and growing like crazy!  I was going to mow the lawn today, but nah! It's not tall enough yet.  Oh yeah...my neighbor, the one who got himself bit by one of my beloved pains in the ass....errr.....dogs.........he gave me fresh cucumbers from his garden the other day!  Yeah, we've been talking since that incident, and, working at keeping the dogs from being a constant issue of discourse. Next year I'm going to see about a privacy fence on that side of the yard..just want to have the money for it. And my beloved Sasha is LUCKY she's a cute dog because that little shit lost her tags!  And I haven't been able to find them. And today is the first time since late Spring that I've been able to have my windows open. Yay!!!!!!   My bird enjoys it...he can hear the other birds outside and sometimes he chirps and carries on. Right now is his quiet time where he's napping.
