The summer 2012 Olympics posted 8/4/2012 11:12:29 PM | 0 kudos what's this?     report abuse tagged: sports, tv, entertainment, straddle   StraddleMyNose I haven't really watched a lot of it. Over the years I would catch some events such as track and field, and some women gymnastics. This year it seems like a bust to me to where I can't just get into them. It's probably because most of it when televised on tv isn't live. That, and I'm more interested in watching my Reds play. Speaking of my Reds, we won again tonight over Pittsburgh, 5-4. Hopefully we can sweep them tomorrow afternoon and go up on the 6 1/2 games. We're pretty hot right now, having won 22 out of our last 25 games. 	My biggest pet peeve right now is all the usa winners have to pay a tax on the medals they have won to the IRS. WTF. Its not enough they dont get paid, but they are representing our country. The best of the best. And for that they win and have to pay a penalty. Its not right.

	Our athletes have to pay taxes on the medals they win??? That's wrong! I only caught a qualifying round of women's kayaking. That was about it. I just don't find the Olympics interesting. Congrats on your Reds. I see them going to the Series this year.

	where did you hear that ? First time I heard anything like that. Watching on and off mostlt off been a strange summer so far .

	I get into the olympic events once every four years. Did anyone else notice that the summer olympics, presidentail elections and leap years happen in the same year?

	Did anyone else notice that the summer olympics, presidentail elections and leap years happen in the same year? Yeah, I first notice that 20-25 years ago. Pretty cool way to remember when leap year is too.
