I heard last night that a gang of teens orchestrated a huge flash mob at a retailer. Once they were inside jamming the store up, they began pilfering through clothes, and then taking them and running off with them. The store owner was overwhelmed by it all of course.
Seems like a lot of teens and young adults don't think in todays world. Stupid people using their smart phones to coordinate and organize something like this without any thought of security cameras on them in the store to identify them.
I saw the security tape, and it looks like there were a lot of clear shots and images of most of their faces. The police are asking for help to identify these "suspects". I'm sure there are going to be a lot of calls.
I have seen a lot of police departments go this route to identify people in security cameras anymore. The success rate is very good with capturing these thieves.
Almost two months ago, my Jerry Springer type neighbor and a friend of his were caught taking a lawnmower and a/c unit from the garden area of Kmart. They next day their pics were in the newspaper, caught from the security camera there. The police were asking help to identify the two men. Later that same morning, both were arrested.
No, it wasn't me that turned them in, someone beat me to it.
