Okay, I can agree with most of this NCAA punishment for Penn St., but for them to vacate the wins from Paterno from 1998 through 2011 is TOTAL BULLSHIT!
Not only are they taking the wins from Paterno, but from all the players that played on those teams over 14 seasons. This happened on the football field, and Paterno and his players won those games on their merits. To try to rewrite history like this is not the way to go!

The fine, I agree with. Removing Paterno's statue, yeah, even that, but..to strip away those championships...I don't agree with. Those teams went out there and won those games, they, as far as I know, had NOTHING to do with what that monster Sandusky did. Paterno, he should have spoke up, called the authorities when it was brought to his attention, I'll agree. But to strip those players of their championships? No, that is bullshit. They had nothing to do with what happened. It's not right, nor fair to them.

It doesnt really matter what they do with the games and players in the past. They won. They know they won. I think it's unfair to the players now, who had nothing to do with what happened 10 years ago. they are the ones being penalized for someone else's crimes.

Even in death, Paterno deserves everything that happens to him. BUT, not the football team. They won those games with their blood sweat and determination. My problem with thing this whole thing is he knew he reported it. they did nothing, he should of went to the police instead of covering it up.
