	I used to sell the fore runner of cell phones.. The unit was in a briefcase with a handset..We advertised them as a portable phone for the busy executive on the go, whether golf course or business The first cells had the battery and rec/sending unit in a plastic bag Great innovation back then ... Like a portable carphone they had even before then where the unit was in the car trunk!!!

	Ahhh yes... 1984. I had been in Mobile, AL for about a year, met a lady half my age and was getting laid and BJs- that was a great decade!!
