Yanno...most of my Life I have heard that saying, but I really never stopped to look backward at my Life..and add up everything to Prove that Statement,until Recently!!!
Back 3.5 years ago I was Laid off from my Job.... back when the Automotive Industry when to crap!! I made parts for GM mostly, so ..I kinda expected the lay off when it Happened!!!
I was unemployed for a Long time...with only getting Unemployment Benni's...which Lasted a Year..Total! Which was a total Blessing!!
During this Time of unemployment (no monies though) my Mom whom had Alzheimer took a turn for the Worse!!!
My Sister in-law and Brother moved in with Mom....about 2 year prior to this....to help out!!
To be honest...I was very grateful for them to stay there....to help keep her from wondering off..or catching the house on fire..etc...! I Lived over an Hour away!!!!
But...all they Actually did, was make sure she was fed, which was cool....but they would leave her by herself all day long..till it was Meal time again!!! Hell... I didn't know...! Mom dis-liked my sis in-law... so with her having Alzheimer and Not liking my sis in-law anyways.....I just thought Mom's Alz. was kicking in..when she spoke really bad about my sis in-law!!!
But it all came out in the Open..when Mom got worse!!!
Mom had another Stroke which helped make her Alz. worse, she had way over 200 mini strokes before this one, but this one.....devastated her!!!
Anyways...I helped out....for many weeks, hell... Months, from Oct. till Feb......when she Passed away!! But I was there..Thank God!!!!
Though Mom was a hand full (I'll not get into all that!! lol) it was an Honor to help care for her!!! She was my Mom, my Angel......
But yanno If I had a Job....it would have been hard to get the time off work to help care for her!!!
Another time..(out of many) was just last year!!!
I took the Job I currently have last Oct. and this past Spring my Neck Screwed up..big time!!! I had to have surgery....and it was not Workers Comp.!!!!
I had just sold my house in VA. 2 weeks before I screwed up my neck! So I had a lil money to help out with all these expenses
The Company I work for has Good Insurance..and I was Covered!!!!! Wow....how cool is that? I was uninsured for 3 years..and nothing messed up, but not long after my Insurance Started...Boom..I need surgery!!!
Now...today even...I had to go to the Dentist...because of Bone from my Jaw..sticking thru my Gum!!!!(where a Wisdom tooth was!)
I had to have surgery on that also..WTH???? They had to cut open my Gum..and file down my Jaw Bone..!!! Pain will be coming soon I'm sure!!!! They gave me something for the Pain...so thats cool!!!
But yanno...I'm still out of work with my Neck!!!
I didn't have to take time off just for this..Plus I'm getting Temp. Disability from the Company I work for because of my neck deal!!!
How about all that? Personally..I think its cool as Crap!!!!
I believe..Everything Happens for a Reason!!!
