Tips on beating Diabetes 2 and loose weight!

Lets face it folks, Diabetes 2 is nothing to play around with, I got mine from over eating, drinking too much beer and having terrible unhealthy habits! I was depressed in a marriage to a bi polar woman, and I just gave up in life. After our split and I got my head on right again, the first thing I did was knock off the beer and cigarettes! I threw that crap out the window and haven't picked up 1 beer or smoke in 5 years. Thats your first step if you drink or smoke or both. Contrary to what people think it is not good to loose weight fast! I use a George Foreman grill, I buy chicken breast in a bag from Kroger or Walmart, and I eat PLENTY OF GREENS! It is very good even if you don't have diabetes, collards,kale, mixed, and mustard! You want anything that has great antioxidants green tea is a very,very good source! My diet is veggies and Chicken.turkey or anything white meat, but stay away from WHITE FOODS AS IN breads,pasta's,rice, and potatoes, milk especially whole unless it is 2%. Food taste bland? can't stand? Thats ok! Just buy your favorite seasoning (I like onion powder, cajun powder, and garlic powder) for flavoring! Eat your dinner, but eat smaller amounts, and DO NOT eat past 7 pm at night it is important to know, if you lay on your food you eat? You cannot burn it fast! There fore exercise is needed! For me I started out 20 minutes of power walking a day this is easy! You don't need a tread mill! Just 1st day go out and walk for 10 minutes, (Take your watch to time yourself) and know where you stopped at (A tree,gate, crack in walk ect.ect!) and then walk back should be 10 more minutes and ~Voila! You know where to stop on your power walk and turn back. Make goals on how far you walk every month! and "GRADUATE" to the next level, a normal healthy walk is about 1 hour per day! (I actually walk 2 hours a day I love to get out though!) This is a very healthy way to suceed. And remember to COUNT YOUR CALORIES!! The human body is made for at least 2000 calories per day. And lastly? Stay away from red meat but 1 time a week. and eat veggies a can of "CALIFORNIA" blend a week? Is like giving the body a tune up! or Oil change LOL! THROW AWAY REGULAR SODA! it is liquid candy!!! instead? drink diet soda don't like it?? Well there is diet cranberry juice and other juices as alternatives! And that is my secret on how I lost a whole "MAN" I lost 190 lbs in 5 years. I hope this helps those that read this, it helped me so much? Guys I'm engaged to a good looking model girlfriend! And I'm just an old mountain man from Kentucky! if I can do this?? ANYONE CAN DO THIS! Always remember, diabetes 2 don't have to be a giving up thing, it can be battled, and beat! And even if you don't have the disease reading this? If you are overweight, there is a chance you could develop the disease in time. So take a precaution! I was too late, but I'm fighting!
