Maybe the partisan politics is nearing an end?

Nah! But I agree with both of them on this:

Obama and Romney denounce billionaire's idea

We already lived through Jeremiah Wrong....errr.....Wright's nonsense once, WHY resurrect him?

Romney had urged the independent group, which favors his candidacy, to abandon the Wright strategy and to focus instead on his bedrock issue, the economy.

Exactly. Focus on now, not what happened years ago. But hey.....at least this guy got both sides to agree on something.

Yes, this is written tongue in cheek, if you don't have a sense of humor..ain't my fault.

BIG difference between Obama and Romney.
Romney has class, the other guy could not buy it.
You will notice that Obama has ads going about stuff that went on 2 years after Romney left Bain.
IMHO, Wright should be open season. Especially after the news is out that Obama & Co.
offered him over $150,000 to stop preaching 'till after the '08 elections.

Let me repeat:

I deleted a comment that seemed to be hostile.

New things have come to light such as some hush money, $150,000 of it to keep Wright's mouth shut and not say anything that he has known on Barry. Normally, I would say maybe it's not worth going this route again, but after some new developements, especially the past three years, maybe it's worth throwing the same stuff out there, along with the new stuff.

People can view it again, this time seeing the past three years of how he and his cronies have run and destroyed this country.

All you can do when voting for a candidate for our country's highest office, is to try, TRY to vote for the lessor of the two evils- which is extremely hard to do because, after all, when all is said and done- they're still party devoted, unwilling to negotiate AT all, selfish, power hungry motivated butt heads! And... I'm being nice!!

^^^^^ I think somewhere in there, lurks SOME humor- just not sure where!

You know someone is going to go there though. If not this guy someone will as the race gets tighter. Truth is they really do not have quick answers on the issues of the day and want to distract the voters from that.

Truth is there is only so much anyone can do about the economy. It took years to get into this mess and there is no magic wand to get it out of it over night. Problem is people have a fast food mentality and a lack of responsibility in this country. No one told them to go and take out loans they could not afford on bubble priced houses. Now they want to blame everyone else but the person in the mirror. No one told the CEOs to take a huge bonus while the company went down the tubes but they sure did. No one told Wall Street to act like a bunch of kids let loose with mom and dad's credit cards but they did. Now that EVERYONE got us into this mess everyone looks to the white house to say it is going to be ok and just fix it for them while they take no responsibility for putting the borrowed car into the ditch. And now some people are calling for less regulations? Hell to the no on that. If your kid goes joy riding in your car and wrecks it why in the hell would someone give them the keys back and let them run around town unsupervised?

There was a reason for regulations. Remember the great depression caused by risky investments on the part of Wall Street? Then they eased up on regulations and look where we ended up again. That tells me these big corporations cannot regulate themselves.

I really do think economics needs to become a required subject in schools. Maybe if people understood how the economy actually works the whole country would be better off and we could actually make it work for a change.

To me that someone even wanted to go to the old smears that did not work the first time around shows me they are worried because they do not have answers either.
