4 more possible statehoods to be added by 2016 posted 3/31/2012 10:41:16 PM | 5 kudos what's this?     report abuse tagged: news, straddle, government   StraddleMyNose With a vote for possible statehood for Puerto Rico this coming November by the people in the U.S. territory to become the 51st state, there have been other talks in the works for a plan to devide both Ohio and Kentucky. State and government officials have been in talks since early March with a possible split with a North Ohio and a South Ohio. State officials from Ohio first initiated the plan that would call for boundaries to be set up 25 miles to the north of Columbus, the state capital that will run from Indiana to the southwest corner of the state of Pennslvania. Cleveland would become North Ohio's state capital, while Columbus remained a state capital, but for South Ohio. Government officials have long wanted to split up Kentucky with a West Kentucky, and a East Kentucky. One of two plans would call for boundaries to start around Lexington, with Lexington to be located in East Kentucky, and would be it's state capital. Another plan others would like to see implemented would push the boundary lines further west closer to the city of Frankfort, with Frankfort being in West Kentucky as it's state capital. A plan for a 54th state would have American Somoa joining the other 53 states. The Appalachian Triangle Enquirer APRIL FOOLS! I hope no one actually believed this crap. Besides, if I first post this on April 1st, people will have some idea that I'm pulling an April Fools Day joke (which I really am). I'm gonna laugh my freak'n ass off if Puerto Rico votes for statehood, then realize later on that what is commonly described as 'grey matter' for brains, is really nothing more than massive scar tissue, in our politician's sculls!!!

	Am I the only one that thought of the 'ole SNL 'Emily Lattela' (SP?) skit where she was ranting on about ''Making Puerto Rico a Steak....next thing you know, they'll want a baked potato......and a salad" And why does my 'spell check' want me to spell it "Ruperto Rico"? Although there was recent talk of splitting California into 4 different states. BAD idea, to give the west coast 6 more Senators for Harry Reid. ANY Protectorate, would be dumb to gain Statehood, and loose their special privileges.
