this is just something i have noticed with ppl and their children. don't hang me. but i have noticed that alot of ppl let their kids watch really disturbing, violent, and bloody movies and games. but as soon as a pair of tits pops up, they freak out. why is this. i think i know why. b/c ppl rather discuss violence over sex to their kids. but what is that saying to them. think about it. it's ok to be violent and kill but it's not ok to have sex? just sit back and think about it. look around. see how many times parents buy their kids violent, and bloody movies and games. but as soon as someone says porn all hell brakes loose. let me know what you think?

Wellllllll... there is a mite difference between watching violent flicks and watching a dude 'fudge packing' some chicks in porn flicks!

Our society still thinks that sex belongs in the bedroom, like it mysteriously appears once you marry! Society continues to fail to understand that trying to suppress a natural bodily function, has helped to create the porn industry and sex crimes as they are IMO!

Society just doesn't learn from past experiences, like the prohibition era (1919 - 1933), where all kinds of Hell (crimes) broke loose, trying to suppress the sale and use of alcoholic beverages!! Porn hasn't created near the problems that prohibition on alcohol has but trying to suppress it isn't helping much!

You can pretty much bet that the very people who want porn swept under the rug, are the same ones who host some wild parties behind closed doors, I would love to attend!

Anyway, that's my take on violent and bloody movies and games industry, vs the porn movies and games industry!

Just my 2¢ and then I probably have change coming back!

Okay I disagree. Sex is what they build sales on. I mean look at most of the commercials out there they relate to sex. So many movies show a woman's bewbies even mens butts Drugs run rampant in almost all movies so does violence sorry honey but so does sex

America is not THAT free of a country (for example) when it comes to sexual content being discussed among us, where it really counts- other countries are more 'open' about it from what I've read.

Sure sex causes problems in today's society... but, there's a difference between selling products through ads using sex as an underlying entity (which in publications for public use means showing attractive women, some scantily clad women (bikinis) and most others dressed provocatively using more attire and made up to draw attention)... and showing "a woman's bewbies even mens butts" when talking about sex and crimes associated with it!

i know they use sex for adds and stuff like that.
but what i'm talking about are Parents letting children watch/pay 18+ movie/games. what i have seen. is that parents are ok with their kids seeing someones brains splattered across a wall. but they are not ok with a nipple being shown or a quick flash of a vagina. i'm not talking about hardcore porn. if a kid had a playboy mag in their hands the parents would flip. but that same kid could have a book called "how to become a mass murderer" and their parents would be ok with that. i just don't get it. are parents that uncomfortable talking about sex to their kids. i understand being thrown off when it first come up. but lol you was that age once. just remember it. use your knowledge that you have now and put yourself in the state of mind that the kid is in. kids are smart, they just don't think like an adult.
