WOOT!!!!!     
The last couple of weeks have been insane with work and school. Today is the first full day I've had off in 2 weeks! Felt good to sleep in, waking up and knowing I don't have to rush off to class or to work!
So, for the past couple of weeks or so here on the news, they reported that Rick Santorum led in the polls here over Romney. Here is an example of why I don't give polls much thought...Romney won the primary here in Michigan. Not by much, but, he won it despite the news reporting that Santorum was leading by 6 points. I just don't find them kind of polls to be credible. I've seen polls where they show Obama being in the lead by 26 points over any GOP candidate. That could very well change come November. Yes, I hate election years. It's not so much the campaigns, cause remotes are some wonderful inventions.  A campaign ad comes on, change the channel.  It's bloggers/forum participants over on the vanilla site...OMG  they are some fanatical folks over there!  There is one who is stuck like a vinyl record skipping with his comments of hate about Obama and vote republican...doesn't care who wins the nomination...just wants Obama out. That kind of voter is scary because to me, that person isn't paying attention to issues a particular candidate supports, that person just wants a Republican in. No, that's not the way to vote.  Learn about the person, what they stand for, how they vote on issues important to you. Doesn't anyone get it? Blind party voting is part of why this country is in such a mess?
Ok...off that soap box....  Seems like Winter has remembered it's supposed to be annoying us here. We've got snow on the ground, and Spring is just a few weeks away.  Last night, got a little freezing rain in the area...another reason I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere today cause I wouldn't have been going in. I don't drive on ice. Besides, Michigan won't let up put ice skates on our cars tires.  Wonder how that would work?  But anyway, we got our little blast of winter, and temps will be back above freezing..even calling for temps to get into the 50's by next Tuesday. I saw on the weather channel earlier there are tornado warnings out for Tennessee....I hope PTN is staying safe!
So...I think today I'm gonna kick back and just relax and enjoy my day off.
