The subject of "passion" comes up occassionally in my life, and I'm asked the question, "What are you passionate about?"

Since this is an Adult Dating site and these are billed as Sex Blogs, I'm sure for many people here in AMD-land there is a direct connection between "passion" and sex. Lovers describe their love for each other as passionate. Unhappy spouses bemoan a LACK of passion as their problem, when often they really mean a lack of sex, or the right kind of sex, or satisfying sex.

My premise is that "passion" is more often found in our everyday life, and if we could learn to channel that emotion/feeling/action into our intimate relationships, most of our sexual needs would be met.

For example, I've met many women who are passionate about their children. My contention is that if they spent even a fraction of that time/energy/emotion in their marriage, there would be more and better sex in their marriage.

The same holds true for the avid, passionate, golfer who spents hours and hours each week on the golf course. If he/she channelled that same passion into the relationship with their "significant other" there would be a dramatic change in that relationship.

How do we do that? I'm not sure. Maybe that's why I'm still single. After a 28 year marriage ended, I discovered my (preferably live), basketball (primarily playing and watching college) and sex (here I am at AMD). Now my challenge is to transfer that passion into my relationships. Which raises another emotion...fear....

Fear versus Passion....another blog topic for another day. Have a good weekend everyone!

Passion is really the extent of emotional intensity. Truth be told, I am almost neutral about everything emotionally these days. Very little seems important. Dual edge sword as the result, relatively speaking, is kind of like being simultaneously apathetic and mellow

A life without passion is a wasted life in my book. I'm not saying you have to be passionate 24/7, but it's important to find something or someone to be passionate about in order to live a full, happy life.

If a person lives passionately... living life to it's fullest whether it's in their job or off-time is critical to being a whole and much happier person. Then when you do meet a person you want to be with (most of the time) the passion for living already exists which can then be shared with the other person. Still need the spark, chemistry or whatever you what to term it to take it to the next level.

Good blog.

I am passionate about many things. About life, about possibilities.-

Music. Art. Sex. Kissing. Star Trek. Kinky play at the local dungeon. The feeling of rope around my wrists.. if there is no rope then being held by my wrists while fucked is good too,

Good food... decadent chocolate, sushi with ginger and wasabii, a good steak, brie and crackers,

Blue eyes, guys with a full head of hair like a lion's mane, hairy chests and responsive man nipples.

Voices with seductive musical qualities, a British or European accent can especially make my toes curl and tingle.

Hot tubs and skinny dipping, white beaches and the warm sun shmmering on blue-graen water. Mountains with views of the valley below,

Just even driving on a sunny day can make me feel vibrantly alive. I espcially find a reason to smile when I drive past a nearby alpaca farm.

Careful, Darlin; there ARE those of us who either ARE or who have CONSIDERED polyamory (understanding that there are MANY flavors of salts and peppers, equally deserving of attention on a palate ) and who, consciously WILL propose cohabitation or marriage without hesitation
