According to the news, M.I.A, who performed with Madonna and Nicki Minaj on the Super Bowl half time show "upstaged" the show by flashing the middle finger and apparently saying, "I don't give a ****!" Although it cannot be confirmed exactly what she said because it was inaudible.

Really? I saw the half time performance and never noticed when M.I.A. "flipped the bird" so to speak. So, how did that upstage the whole performance? I thought it was one of the better half time performances I had seen on a Super Bowl in a while. Like I said, I didn't notice M.I.A.'s "obscene" gesture. And personally, I think the news media carrying on about it is what is "upstaging" an otherwise good performance. Madonna still knows how to put on a good show.

btw...the Ferris Bueller commercial was still my favorite.

I never noticed that middle finger from that women either until parts of the show was played back on the news, and only then I saw her do it. I think that woman is an idiot. Too bad she had to do this during Madonna's performance.

Because with all the other shit going on in the world, why do a bunch of uptight Midwestern Americans have to make a big deal where there isn't one? This isn't 50 years ago for one, for second, what makes you think Madonna herself isn't benefiting from said controversy like she always has? Thirdly, the content you've been posting besides news articles, I'm sorry but you of all people can't possibly be offended by someone slipping the bird on live tv when you talk about feet and assfucking. Lastly...

You'll get over it. And so will the rest of America so they can squwack about the latest episode of So you Think You Got the Moves or whatever insipid reality contest is on tv right now.

I agree it was very tacky. I do hope Madonna says something to her in private. Unfortunately it ruined the event for some people but hey I loved the show and I didn't see it. So the bitch didn't ruin Madonna's performance for me

And yet no one shields their kids eyes from the blatant misogyny that some of the ads have but everyone blows a gasket over someone flipping the bird? Kids see and do lots worse when parents backs are turned..but I don't need to tell you that do I?

First of all, I have no problem with what M.I.A. did. Hell, I've seen and heard far worse at work for crying out loud. I was actually mocking the media for being so bent out of shape over it. And I just wondered how many actually saw what she did BEFORE the media pointed it out.

Look at the Tebow thingy...and Now..they are trying to make something out of Bradying
and even his Wife....making a comment after the game!!!! What did they expect? Hell... I kinda liked it that she defended her Hubby...! (Right or Wrong.... )
