If you found a briefcase with $8,000 in it, would you return it?
I was just reading an article on the news site in my area about a man who stopped and picked up a ragged briefcase only to discover that briefcase had 8 grand in it. He returned it. Article didn't say whether he was rewarded or not.
I couldn't imagine finding that kind of money, but, if I did, I'd most likely turn it over to the police. Finding 50 bucks or even 100 bucks on the ground is one thing, but, 8 thousand? It would be tempting to keep, but, I couldn't do it. Guilty conscience can be such a killjoy.  Seriously, if I were to lose that kind of money, I'd want someone like this guy finding it. 
So....how moral are we here?

This would be very tempting, but only if i knew who it belonged to would i ever consider returning it. in all likelyhood, i probably would return it. No name on it or in it, i would more than likely keep it. Who's to say the police wouldn't keep it for themselves if they couldn't find the owner...

Hmmm... I dunno  Did any of the stacks have a red dye pack in them?? 
I'm not really sure but I believe if you drop it off at the police station, they supposedly run an ad in the local paper for 30 days and if no one can varify it's their money, it's yours! But that's a major assumption you can trust them to begin with!

The pic shows a nice man just doing a pleasantry for someone who could have been he.....we always have to remember it could have been us...return it...god knows what he had it in the suitcase for, but hey...it was his and not the finders.

Keep it....responsible people dont leave $8k laying around in a old briefcase. Its drug money so no one is gonna claim it and the police would keep it anyway.

Yanno......I see things a lil differently than most ppl do...
Like... one time while at a Department store.....standing in line at the check out...I found a $20.00 bill!!
I was spending the Last dollars I had buying things for my Family....and then found that!!
I debated within myself for a Min..and Yanno....I think I was suppose to keep it!!!!
If I gave it to the Cashier...What was she gonna do with it? 
This story...has a lil funk smell to it...I bet the monies were gotten/used....for something very wrong!!!
Its a damn shame someone didn't find it that could use it...just saying...
