It's the first day of Winter semester. The last few weeks at work were busy, I put in 6 day work weeks these past few weeks. Now it's slowed down some, and today is the first day of Winter semester. Today's classes: Spreadsheet Fundamentals and Criminal Law. One of the cool things about being back in school is that I was able to get the FULL Microsoft Office software(Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Power Point, and Notepad) for only $89 instead of the $400 the public is charged. College students get one helluva discount on stuff like that. I got an offer to upgrade from Vista Home Basic to Windows 7 for $29. Haven't done that though, my computer is running fine with Vista. Anyway, tomorrow nights class will be Family Law and then Thursday night is Civil Litigation. Yep, getting into the core of my degree. 2 more semesters after this one and I can sign up for the Internship.

So, anyway, I got on the computer to see if there is any messages in my inbox for the college's site, and all is quiet, so, I decide to check in over here, nothing out of the ordinary..the usual non imaginative stuff , and the obvious scammers. That blocked user list just keeps growing and growing. Do people really still fall for their line of b.s.? I don't know, I just couldn't do that to other people, lie to them about "loving" them, talk all sweet, and then ask them for thousands of dollars in order to "get home". I mean, who falls for that? If someone is going to tell you they are a.....oh...civil engineer for example, it's reasonable to assume with that kind of job that person would have money enough to get home with, or, if they are on the company's dime, the company pays for their room, food, and ticket home.

Oh yeah, to my Jersey friend who happens to be a Blackhawks fan.....WINGS RULE!!!!!!!

They beat your Blackhawks last night by 3-2! That was a fun game to watch!!
