but who still goes out in public behind drunken goggles beyond their forties anymore ? Well i quite drinking a few years ago.......so I don't even do it at home, but to be honest, I don't think many ppl drink in bars anymore. With the DUI laws like they are, the fines and cost of insurance afterwards, I think most people don't want to chance it.
In the town i live in we have had 3 bars close down in the past year. They just don't have the business, and when you consider there is less than 10,000 ppl, 3 bars is a lot. The only ones that are still flourishing up here in the north, is the rural ones, the ones they have to pipe daylight into, because they know that their chances of getting home without getting caught is a lot greater than them getting stopped.
However that being said, about a year ago, my b/f and I went to a couple of bars with his son and g/f. The crowd age was 20's. For the most part early 20's. It didn't take long sitting there watching them, listening to their music, to be grateful I am as old as I am and don't go to bars anymore
