Hah!  How many are rolling their eyes saying "here we go again"?  C'mon, admit it! 
Been busy with working on assignments for my classes today, decided to take a break. Take a peek in here to see what's going on. Myself, what's been going on? Work, school, dogs....did I mention work? I'm taking an intermediate document processing class this semester, and let me tell ya....reports SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They are some tedious damn things. I liked the correspondence section we just finished, breezed through that.  The thing about reports I don't like, is formatting the headers and footers...that can be frustrating as hell when you can't figure out something, and then stumble onto the solution, and then later forget what the hell ya did! But, persistence and hard work does pay off. I've gotten mostly A's on my assignments. But, for as much as these assignments frustrate me, I do enjoy the class, in fact, I'd have to say, it's one of my favorite classes. Word makes typing and then formatting documents so easy. It's not as complicated as I once thought years ago. (I just wasn't taking it as serious back then.  ) I mean, all of that line counting, margin setting the old way with typewriters.....easily done with the click of the mouse now. The first document processing class I ever attempted was way back when Word Perfect was the big thing. Word is similar, yet different. I haven't seen any of the later versions of Word Perfect, but from what I remember, a lot of the settings/formatting were done with formulas and using the tool bar at the top. Word, it's more click and point, with keyboard short cuts. I like Word more. 
My other classes, Legal Ethics and Substantive Law are going very well. Mid term in those two classes are A's. I had a Life Long Wellness class, it was only a 7 week course, and got an A as a final grade in that one.  The Document Processing...eh..got an B going in this one, but I'm working on bringing it up. As to work, it's been slow. No surprise. Which is why I'm taking classes now, it's slow at work and gives me time to focus on classes and the assignments.
So, anyway, that's been about it around here. Dogs are behaving as well as can be...which, with my bunch....  Ok, they're not that bad, but, they have their moments. Thankfully Buddy is out of his chewing stage now. For a while there I had to literally hide my shoes from him because he wanted to chew on everything. Now, if I can just convince Tazz and Princess to stop their bickering...nah..they're female...we tend to be bitchy at times. No, they don't fight, just a little growly with each other once in a while. Usually only takes a "HEY! Knock it off!" and they stop.
Well, I'm gonna head off, got to get the water bill paid. ugg! I hate bills...oh well. Crossing my fingers that my Lions get back on their winning streak. Last two games were downers. I didn't expect them to go undefeated, but, I still would like to see them have a season where they make it to the Superbowl. And Hockey is starting....WOOOHOOOO!!! Go Wings!!!!!!!!!  I love my Red Wings..they rule. (and to that friend of mine who is the Hawks fan.......Wings rule..Hawks wish they knew what it meant!  )
