Oh yeah, we're gonna get a good Indian Summer here. Temps in the mid 70's, may even get a day or two around 80!  
Ok, enough on the weather.  Just sitting here this morning, checking out blogs here and over on MD. Last night I saw that two members over there actually got booted off by the Mod over there. I was surprised.  I didn't think that happened over there. I always thought AMD was the problem child. Apparently the two who got booted were known to troll and bully others...so, the Mod got tired of the bitching and whining and canceled their accounts.  btw...the two who got booted were notorious for the "I'm right, you're all wrong" religious type blogs/postings. And when someone didn't agree with their point of view..they would flood the blogs and forums with attacks.
Religion..it's a personal "relationship" an individual has with their spirituality. Whether they be Christian, Mormon, Jewish, Pagan, Wiccan, Buddah, all of them...it's a PERSONAL relationship..and, as far as I'm concerned, none of us should be in another persons face telling them they are wrong. My parents for example, Mom has Christian beliefs, Dad, total atheist. They respect each others viewpoint and leave it at that. My best friend and her family, Catholic, they all know how I think/feel, and we respect each others views. I have good friends who are Wiccan, again, I totally respect that, and actually, I find it to be very interesting. My whole thing on this is simple...respect that others will believe differently. It's their RIGHT to in this country. No one is wrong in what they embrace. What is wrong is when one tries to force their own onto someone who does not want it.
Ok..enough of that subject. Hank Jr. with his "Hitler" comment. Personally, in my opinion, it doesn't phase me what he said. He didn't threaten anyone, he just insulted the President. Who hasn't? Name me one President in the last 30 years that hasn't been insulted. Politics are like Religion, hot button topics that people get worked up over. Don't believe me? Read some of those blogs over on MD. Bruce and Rev will tell ya how crazy some of those folks can get!
I look at both Religion and Politics as an "to each their own". I'm not going "like or dislike" someone because they may or may not have the same beliefs as I do. I've always said, if we all thought the same, felt the same, we would be so damned boring we'd turn to stone. I like the differences, I like to learn about them, observe. Some people are a little over the top..but, that's what makes them stand out.
Well, I think I'm going to enjoy the Indian Summer this week. Hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Well, I think I'm going to enjoy the Indian Summer this week.
HA!!!... You live in Michigan as I! Now that you've said that... you may THINK it will be Indian Summer this week, maybe next when in reality, we'll wake up to 3 feet of snow this week or next! No Fall... just right into Winter!

I remember when liberals had called Bush Hitler. I found that very offensive at the time, and still do whenever people use that name to refer to someone just because one doesn't agree with their politics. Hitler was an evil man who killed innocent people.
As far as our weather here, it's warmed up a little more with sunny weather the rest of the week, and highs between 70-75. A few nights we have been down to between 35-40. Tonight it's suppose to make it down around 45, not as chilly.

I am just happy when I do not have to listen to Hank talk or sing as I am not a fan of either. He is just trying to appeal to his fan base I suppose.
As for the weather here. In the 60s for the last few days. 80 tomorrow then back down into the upper 60s and low 70s again which is the highest temperature I am happy with any time of year. LOL

Indian summer? I thought Indian summer came AFTER a hard frost...did you have a hard frost up your way? All we've had was "patchy frost". Whatever Indian summer is, we got it and that's all I care about....70's 'n a couple days of 80...
I haven't been to the vanilla side for ages. Once in a blue moon I slip in over there and it is a cauldron of a few babbling idiots that ruin it for everyone. I know there are some that really like my blogs there but yanno what? I can't keep up with writing blogs here and answering comments, let alone both places... 
Politics 'n religion? Never talk about it...PERIOD. Neither do I read about either.

That's about the majority of the blogs over there lately...so, you're not missing much.
Some parts of Michigan had a couple of hard freezes, so I'm saying it's Indian Summer. Of course, if where I'm at has a hard freeze in the near future, and we can squeeze out another week of this kind of weather, I'll not complain.
