If you're much younger than me, you likely don't remember the Dick Van Dyke show.
It was a black and white series from the early 60's and co-starred a young Mary Tyler
Moore ( ). MTM played a shy, devoted wife to DVD's husband, but in this next-
to-last episode of the series Ms. Moore played a very different part. (My jaw nearly
hit the floor when I saw this scene!) If you go to 3:40 here, you'll see Mary Tyler Moore like
you've never seen her!

It was a show that changed fashion. Laura Petry (MTM) changed fashion and led housewives out of the house dress and into pants. Just because a woman was somebody's wife and mother didn't mean she had to look like it
