This just reflects my feelings!
As I sit here and think of the past 30 years
When I rode on my 1st Harley and drank so many beers
All the memories flood in like a river overflowing
I still ride today, I am forever growing
Each year I'm alive and think of the past
The memories abound, I hope they will last
Some good, Some bad, Some Happy, Some sad
I am thankful for this life and all that I've had
So I'll ride each day and look forward to tomorrow
Life is too short to be living in sorrow
Ride Safe and Live Long is the motto I preach
Go out and explore, its all within reach
Hold the Memories close and don't let them slip away
The memories we make, we make every day
When it comes for my time to die and I leave for that big open road in the sky
Remember the fun and things that were said and remember the memories and I'll never be dead

A greenie for this one
Since all the women in my family live to be about 100 I probably have a lot of time to make some more memories which is a good thing since my life took a little detour some time back.
I don't live in the past but memories do warm your heart when things are looking kind of bleak around you.

I spend a lot of time in my past...the good times but I don't live there, I just visit. Funny, the older I get the more I visit there. Overall, I've had a good life tis true but it helps that the bad memories seem to slip into oblivion the older I get. And now I'm makin' lots of new ones everyday. Life is good...

Have not had a Harley. Did have a Buell, which put me on a first name basis with
the local V-twin shop people. Sucker would break with no warning......won't own another. Although, it's a 'homie feel', when you can walk into a shop, and they know your
first name. Friendly People, those pushrod Vee twin types.......
