Yep, had a date today. No fooling. Not even kidding. Yep, went out, got home, dogs wanted outside. Yep, all arranged and everything. Got there on time. (what can I say? I'm notorious for being a couple of minutes late. ) Called Friday and made the arrangements and was there today right on time.

GOTCHA!!!! My "date" was my first day back to work today. But hey..I was on time today. A lot of the time I get in a minute or two late. That vacation was nice, but went by too fast. Yesterday was Mom's birthday so I was over there. Just a nice quiet little get together for Mom. Would have liked to have sat outside and watch the killdeer with their chicks. They are so cute to watch. I like the mother killdeer and how she will go into a "broken wing" act if she thinks something is getting too close to the chicks. And the daddy killdeer, he's not one to take lightly..he will dive bomb anything that gets too close to the chicks. For anyone who wants to know what they look like, here's a link:

Another scorcher for us heat wimps up here today. Got up to 92 with high humidity. I know, it's nothing compared to what some of you out there are dealing with with temps over 100. Hope everyone is staying as cool as possible.

awwwwwwww, cheeeeeeee it. i was hoping someones social life was getting better than mine. oh well, at least you got out today. i was going to this morning, but didn't make it. maybe tomorrow, if i can get moving before the temps hit 90 that is.

aw dang... I was hoping you did have a date!!! But a date to go back to work is always a good thing!! Soon though... you will have a date! You deserve to be taken out for a nice evening!

Manfred won't poop in one part of the yard by the ash tree because he went out to that area last spring and blue jays dive bombed him like a stuka as they had nests with chicks in the tree. It is a trip to watch them and the mockingbirds go after squirrels.

Manfred got dive bombed by bluejays...yeah, those are some obnoxious birds..but one of my favorites.

Glad to hear you got a little vacation and it went nicely. The heat is on here too...it has been 100 for three days now, saying it will be 88 on Thursday due to scattered showers and cloudiness, but I don't believe it. I have to go back to work today too. Had my 2 days off and barely did nothing. I bet when I ask customers how they are they will say HOT!...that word has got to change soon....stay cool everyone...stay cool!

A date at work to be there and on time can be a great thing if done right LOL.
but will keep fingers crossed legs crossed and even crossed my eyes hoping that you get a date with flowers dinner and a kiss under the stars .. and a return phone call
